From our base in Dubai – UAE, we are able to cater to many countries in the MENA region. With highly developed logistics and excellent air and sea connection through Dubai, we are able to manage most deliveries within 2 or 3 days. Like every industry, logistics is also affected by environmental and industry regulations.
With significant experience with regional logistics, we are able to expedite alternative arrangements, to ensure that our supply chains conform to the dynamic regulatory environment. Our primary objective is to ensure our customers have the necessary tools and consumables at all times so critical facility maintenance is not compromised.
Our focus is to ensure that all goods are available in the region at all times and we remain just a phone call away. Having sold our equipment to Civil Defense-approved maintenance contractors across the region, it is evident in the past few years, there has been a clear shift towards a Non-Aerosol based testing system. The nature of the aerosol industry has always been at a crossroads with environmental protocols.
In 2017, we saw a major disruption of key propellants that led to the manufacturing disruptions of aerosol smoke test gases. Even though the ban was anticipated for nearly two years, the industry was slow to respond to this regulation, hence leading to acute shortages. The logistical cost and compliance of shipping DG goods and environmentally safe products doubled the shipping duration and warehousing requirements.
Year on year cost of shipping and storing aerosol is increasing by more than 20%. With such cost increases and also frequent regulation changes, many companies have permanently shifted to aerosol-free systems that do not use aerosol-based products, and still are far more effective and efficient in testing.
With these factors affecting, price, availability, and logistics, contractors in the MENA region were quick to adopt newer technologies like TESTIFIRE and SOLO 365 series. With no aerosols in the equation, products could be shipped out faster, cheaper, and with little or no compliance issues. The reliability of availability increased across the region, and contractors were confident to reduce the procurement timeline by half.
With the Middle East in the grip of the COVID-19 pandemic just weeks back, fire safety was still a top priority in commercial premises. With new cases declining, and the easing of lockdown, the economies are opening up from a deep slumber, and the priority would be to secure your human and capital resources. The need for functional testing is more now than ever.
Over the years, we have received a lot of emails and messages from our users, some more recently telling us about their experiences of using our products, the risks our products have helped mitigate, and the ways in which they have improved safety in buildings. It’s always great to hear from you and to know that our products have been helpful in your daily maintenance work and are keeping your properties safe and risk-free.
